Update your contact information

Keep your contact information up to date. You can update your name, address and other contact information yourself in Openetti. First, log on to Openetti. You can update your information in Openetti under Personal information > Contact data.

I want to continue as a member of the unemployment fund after I resign from the union

If you have belonged to the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science through a trade union and want to leave the union, you can continue as a member of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science. Once you have resigned from the union and paid the membership fees to the union until the date of your resignation, inform us using this form of your continuation as a member of the unemployment fund.

I have been expelled from the trade union

The union cannot expel members from the unemployment fund. If you have been a member of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science via the trade union and have been expelled from the union due to missing membership fees, you can still be a member of the unemployment fund. If you want to keep your unemployment fund membership, you must pay the missing membership fees.

I have joined a union

Inform us by message via Openetti if you have been an individual member of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science and are joining a trade union. First, log on to Openetti and click the ‘Compose message’ button on the Openetti front page.

I want to resign from the unemployment fund

Notify us of your resignation using this form if you have joined another unemployment fund, retired or want to leave the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science for any other reason.

Notification of entrepreneurship

Inform us using this form if you become a full-time entrepreneur. For more information on the impact of self-employment on fund membership, see Entrepreneurship and membership.

Moving abroad

If you move abroad, you should inform the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science and ask us for advice on continuing your membership and on transferring your periods of insurance and employment.

You can use Openetti to notify us of other issues affecting your membership (first log on to Openetti and select the ‘Compose message’ button on the Openetti front page).
