I will continue as a member of the fund

If you have belonged to the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science through a trade union and want to leave the union, you can continue as a member of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science.

Notify your union of the resignation in writing, and at the same time let them know that you will continue as a member of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science. Pay your membership fee to the union up to the date you resign. If you pay your membership fee yourself, ask your union for payment instructions and take care of the fees as soon as possible. If your union membership fees have been withheld by your employer, ask payroll to take care of the membership fees until the date of your resignation and to stop withholding the membership fee after your membership has ended.

Once you have resigned from the union and paid the membership fees to the union until the date of your resignation, inform us using this form of your continuation as a member of the unemployment fund.

The unemployment fund provides non-union members with advice and services exclusively related to unemployment security and job alternation allowance, and pays these benefits to its eligible members. Fund members are not entitled to benefits offered by a union, such as the services of shop stewards, a union magazine or insurance cover, and the services provided by the fund do not include the supervision of interests.
