Summer 2023 at the unemployment fund
This week, many of our members will start a new job, and the thoughts are slowly shifting towards autumn. It’s a good time to reflect on how the summer here at the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science went
We are happy to say that the summer went very well for the fund. As usual, the number of applications received multiplied in the summer, but processing times remained very moderate throughout the summer. The processing of first applications started within 13-14 days at the latest and in follow-up applications within 12 days. At best, both types of applications were processed in less than a week.
During week 31, the fund also received a large number of applications, which is typical at the turn of the month. Last week also set a summer record, with a stunning 2,086 applications for payment. At the moment, first applications received 1.8.2023 and follow-up applications received on 2.8.2023 are being processed.
For the time being, this is the last news of the summer on the application processing situation. In the future, the general processing situation can be checked as usual on the front page of our website.
However, we recommend that you continue to follow the news section of our website and our social media accounts, as we will keep you up to date, for example, on changes planned by the government to unemployment security and job alternation leave.
We will continue to work with the applications, but at this point we would like to thank our members and partners for a successful summer and cooperation.
