General meeting of Unemployment Fund for Education and Science
is held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM in Helsinki, in the meeting room “Reksi” at the Akava
House, address Kellosilta 7, Helsinki
The meeting will address the merger of the Unemployment Fund for Higher Educated Employees (Erko) with the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science. If the fund meeting approves the merger proposal, the new fund will begin operations on January 1, 2026. The meeting will also address the rules of the new fund. The establishment of the new fund does not require any action from the members of the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science, nor will it cause any
changes to the members’ unemployment benefits or the payment of those benefits.
