Payment of mobility allowance
Mobility allowance is paid in arrears. The first payment period of allowance paid based on full-time employment is two weeks and each of the following payment periods is four weeks. Mobility allowance paid based on part-time work is paid in arrears based on an account of days worked. Adjusted earnings-related allowance is often paid for part-time employment and an account of days worked is provided in the earnings-related allowance application. In other cases, you should retrospectively provide a monthly account of the days you have worked.
When you receive the first payment, you will also be provided with a written decision on the mobility allowance. You will receive notification of each payment. If you have chosen e-letters instead of paper letters in Openetti, you will only receive your payment notification in Openetti.
