Partially complies with accessibility standards.

Non-accessible content 3. The website is not yet fully compliant

Operable: Keyboard
Non-accessible content and its deficiencies
When using a screen reader on Chrome web browser and navigating with arrow keys, some elements (including checkboxes, “Search period” label) cause the screen reader to read an additional “clickable” word. This is a problem with the browser and NVDA screen reader and can be bypassed in the NVDA settings. When using a screen reader, it is also recommended to use the selected keys for browsing, in this case the “X” key to browse checkboxes and the spacebar to select objects.
Accessibility requirements that are not met

  • 2.1.1 Keyboard

Operable: Keyboard
Non-accessible content and its deficiencies
The attachments page for applications includes a list that cannot be browsed with arrow keys. This is due to a feature of the lists’ browsability, in which the recommended way to browse the lists with a screen reader is to use the “L” and “I” keys. The Tab key can also be used for browsing the lists.

Operable: Focus Order
Non-accessible content and its deficiencies
After adding attachments, focus cannot be removed from the “Select file” button and the NVDA screen reader appears to go into browse mode on some web browsers. This has to do with the user interface, web browser and screen reader and cannot be prevented from the side of the website.
Accessibility requirements that are not met

  • 2.4.3 Focus Order

Operable: Focus Order
Non-accessible content and its deficiencies
The “Close” button displayed after sending the application redirects the user to the front page, but screen reader focus disappears after moving to the front page. After closing the application, the user can, however, navigate back to the page’s main content with the screen reader.

  • Accessibility requirements that are not met 2.4.3 Focus Order

Robust: Name, Role, Value
Non-accessible content and its deficiencies
The NVDA screen reader displays an open error report that states that NVDA reads certain sections of the code twice (such as checkboxes). This issue can only be fixed by NVDA.
