Government has proposed to the Parliament of Finland a
legislative amendment concerning  standard entitlement and
mobility allowance. The temporary legislative changes made earlier in June to
unemployment security will not expire until the end of October. According to
proposal (HE 163 / 2020), these legislative changes would expire at the end of 2020.

The temporary
legislative changes are concerning standard entitlement and mobility allowance.
Standard entitlement would continue to be temporarily set to 500 euros per month. This change would be applied to application periods that have started between 1 of June and 31 of December
2020. Mobility allowance can be applied for after two hours return commute, if
you have started a full-time job. Concerns employment relationships that have
started during 12 of June and 31 of December 2020.
