If you
start with a new job in January and have planned to apply for mobility
allowance, do remember, that you must apply for it before starting in your job.

Mobility
allowance is a new allowance, with the goal to encourage accepting employment
further from home than is usual. More detailed information can be found in
section Mobility allowance. Application form is to be found under the section
“Forms”, in Finnish.

In Openetti
we do not as of yet have a function for applying for mobility allowance. This
situation will be rectified in week 4. If you wish to apply for mobility
allowance via Openetti before week 4, please do fill in the form on our
web-pages and send it to us using Openetti-function “Attachment files without
applications”.
