Our busiest time of year starts on Monday,
20 June 2016. By that time it will have been two calendar weeks since the
spring festival, and members who have become unemployed will be able to send us
their first applications.

The start of the busiest work season does
not only mean increased numbers of applications. Phone calls and online
contacts (messages and emails you have sent via our Openetti service) are
comparably increasing.

Every year, we prepare for an increase in
the amount of work during the summer. This year, 12 fixed-term employees are
working specifically for the summer months. They are participating in
application processing, the telephone service, and other member guidance.

All of our workstations are staffed during
the summer months and we are working at full capacity. Despite this, in order
to ensure that applications are processed and allowances paid, we will have to
restrict the telephone service during July and August. You can monitor our

Remember that you can ensure that your
application is processed as quickly as possible by complying with our
instructions on submitting applications and providing attachments. By using
Openetti and, in particular, by selecting E-letters, you will ensure that you
receive a notification of our communications as quickly as possible.
