Two‑week processing time maintained
Applications continue to move forward normally, with a stable processing time of approximately two weeks.
During week 28 (07.07.–13.07.2025), application processing went smoothly. Clearly fewer applications arrived at the fund compared to the busy early summer. A total of 555 new applications were received, some of which were first applications, but the majority were follow- up applications.
We processed approximately 1,100 applications, so our processing pace has remained at two weeks. Last week we handled days with particularly large volumes: for first applications, especially those dated 30 June 2025, and for follow-up applications, those dated 30 June–1 July 2025.
Once we have completed processing all applications dated 30 June 2025, the dates shown in our processing tracking will start advancing rapidly again.

Other current updates
The number of requests for additional information is decreasing. However, about 200 applications are still waiting for additional details. Please check in Openetti whether we have requested further information from you.
For many applicants, the allocation of holiday compensation affects when the right to earnings‑related allowance begins. When we process your first application, we determine the most suitable application rhythm for you. Once your first application has been processed, you will receive an information message in Openetti indicating the periods for which you should submit applications in the future.
For some, this may mean that the first continued application is not submitted until the end of July. Once your first application has been processed, please check your application rhythm in Openetti.
