Automatic processing speeds up the earnings-related allowance applications

The Unemployment Fund for Education and Science now uses automated decision‑making in the processing of applications for adjusted earnings‑related allowance, starting from July.

This is an important step forward that benefits all our members: decisions can be made faster, and our specialists can devote more time to those applications that require closer examination.

We use several automation solutions to support the processing of applications, allowing us to serve our members even more quickly and smoothly. A new feature is a dedicated robot for handling adjusted applications. It is able to process some continuation applications quickly and without errors, and issue a decision.

Automatic processing is possible when the application meets certain clear criteria and does not require additional information. In such cases, the system can make a decision independently based on predefined rules. If the application requires an expert’s assessment, it is forwarded to a specialist as before.

How do I know if my application was decided automatically?

Whenever a decision is made automatically, this is stated clearly in the decision. You can appeal the decision in the normal way – the appeal process is the same as for any other decision.Continuous development and monitoring ensure that the systems operate reliably.

We will notify you separately if there are any disruptions in the systems or if payment schedules are expected to change.
